Ravnica bez ptica / Birdless – Documentary

To satisfy the orders of exclusive European restaurants, poachers across Europe and the Middle East kill millions of birds every year. Milan Ružić and other members of the Society for the Protection and Study of Birds of Serbia do not like this gourmet habit, which drastically affects the increase in poaching in Serbia as well. According to ornithologists, poaching of birds is especially pronounced in Vojvodina because the flows of large rivers (Danube, Tisza and Sava) are ideal natural feeding grounds and resting places. Poaching, ornithologists claim, is one of the key reasons why there are fewer and fewer birds in Vojvodina! Since the systemic reaction of the state was absent, Milan and the members of the Association decided to oppose poaching and force the competent state institutions to act according to the law.
