As part of the IntercropVALUES project, the promotional video “Intercropping – A Good Practice Example, from Seed to Plate” was produced to showcase the benefits of intercropping and its contribution to more sustainable and resilient agricultural systems. The video was created in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad and organic producers, with the aim of presenting successful examples of good practice and connecting scientific knowledge with real-world farming experience.

Through practical field-based examples, the video highlights how intercropping can enhance biodiversity, improve soil quality, optimize resource use, and increase crop resilience in the face of modern agricultural challenges. It also emphasizes the importance of collaboration between research institutions, farmers, and other stakeholders across the food value chain.

This initiative forms part of the broader IntercropVALUES project, which brings together 27 partners from 15 countries across three continents with the shared goal of developing productive, diversified, profitable, and environmentally sustainable cropping systems. By promoting innovative intercropping solutions, the project bridges research, practice, and market needs, contributing to a more sustainable future for agriculture and food systems.
