Turbojugend Novi Sad feat. Anal Gestapo

Anal Gestapo (sometimes credited as Nazipenis) from Novi Sad, Serbia is a tribute band to a Norwegian band Turbonegro. They were partly formed by members of Radio London and partly by members of Turbojugend Novi Sad. After their show at the Turbojugend Novi Sad party on May 25, 2006, a local newspaper considered them as “the best Turbonegro tribute band in the world”.

Band statement: “The name ‘Anal Gestapo’ is a deliberate mockery of the Nazis, chosen to convey our strong anti-fascist and anti-homophobic stance. By choosing this provocative name, we aim to challenge oppressive ideologies and celebrate diversity. We stand in solidarity with all marginalized communities and advocate equality, love and respect for nature and every human being. ‘Anal Gestapo’ is not just a name; it is a statement against repression and discrimination. As a band, we strongly believe in the value of inclusivity, equality and freedom. By choosing a name that directly confronts the horrors perpetrated by the Nazi regime, we aim to take power from symbols of hatred and turn them into symbols of resistance.”
